Some of you know that camping has been a big part of my life for many years and there are many little luxuries that make such outdoor life easier and more comfortable.

I do like to tinker, modify and build my own outdoor equipment and that fits perfectly into the Steampunk ethos that we hope to create with the Steam Tent Co-operative.

For example, this widget started life as a cheap wooden tea caddy from a supermarket but with the use of a hole saw, a little drilling and the butchering of eight dolly pegs, we now have a convenient hanging rack for the central pole of our bell tent.

I will add to this page as time goes on and as the Steam Tent events start to take off I think there will be much more to see in the future.
